Zoonoses and a Zine

While rooting through my old work, I found a copy of a zine I made a little while back.  I never posted it so here are a few pages!  

For those of you who don't know what a zine is, it's a self-published magazine that can take many forms and feature any subject matter.  

Mine in particular, is about cat zoonoses-- transmittable diseases and parasites between cats and humans.  I created it with the intention of it being used as a quick reference guide for cat lovers everywhere.

I swear, this is the last post I'll write about cats :)

I haven't painted in a while, especially with oil but I was inspired by the sheer number of baby pictures my parents keep at their house.  Self portrait retrospective in the works.

art therapy

art therapy work is always weird.
the theory is to just let your hand do whatever it wants to do and with whatever medium you feel like.

Moving--sketches

My moving from Chicago back to the SF Bay Area has caused me to go through all my old art and sketches so I snapped a few quick pics of some funky little things I've done. I did fashion illustration for a long time hence all the figures!
